We are not allowed to permit anyone to engage in sport activities without having this information for insurance purposes. We use email and telephone communication to ensure the information we hold is up to date.

Marketing Communications

You can opt out of marketing communications but this will not remove any information we hold for insurance purposes. At this time, Regashi do not engage with digital marketing.


Regashi Karate Club are committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of our members. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we hold.

Whenever you are asked to fill in a form, ensure to pay particular attention to communication preferences and ensure you read our Privacy Policy in full so you know why we are collecting this information. We never collect or keep hold of information that is no longer relevant.

If you want to review or request removal of the data we hold from you currently, please contact us and we will assist with this request. Note: We must hold data of those activley engaged with sport activities at our club premises’, if you change karate clubs, we may pass your details onto the club(s) you are moving to. If you do move club(s), you may request data deletion from Regashi.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Third Parties

Regashi Karate Club are not responsible for the content & data policies of third parties.

Your data may be shared if you participate in Competitions & Gradings at other KUGB Affiliate karate clubs for insurance purposes, including, but not limited to, the venue where such an event is being held. From time to time, Regashi (a KUGB Affiliate) may be required to share informtaion with the KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain), please note that to have your personal information deleted from the KUGB’s database, you will need to contact them directly. This means you cannot be an active member in any KUGB Shotokan Karate Club in the EU.
